In addition to what are you interested in, think about what do you enjoy doing and what satisfies you. This is the same for other careers, so please give it a try. I would like to know more about careers in international organizations; what should I refer to? Guidance meetings held by the Career Center are helpful. You can learn the basic steps and information collection methods for job hunting at international organizations from lecturers from the Recruitment Center for International Organizations of the Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This guidance also features current international organization employees (including Waseda University graduates) as speakers, so that you can create concrete images and plans through their shared experiences and presence as models of career paths to build specialties. Because careers in international organizations are diverse, we recommend listening to as many Waseda alumni as possible to get tips on finding the right choice for you. Thank you for your understanding. Seminars and other events are also held by the Japan MOFA Recruitment Center for International Organizations. Please refer to that as well. MOFA Recruitment Center for International Organizations I am somehow attracted to international organizations, but I'm not sure about what to do after I graduate. What should I do? It is not wrong to be wondering about your future career. You can include “employment in international organizations” in what you want to do in the future, as it may become a reality. We recommend internships to get or expand a concrete image. It may be a chance or a hint to think about what you want to be and what you want to do after you have gained experience. When should I go to graduate school? I've heard that a master's degree is a must for getting a job at an international organization. Everyone is unique. Consider balancing your budget, time, and ambition. The important thing is not “when to go to graduate school” but to learn from the consistency and work experience that are connected to the university and graduate school. Please check out the “International Organization Career Guidances” and “Alumni Talk Sessions” in the Career Center’s archive. Waseda University alumni who are now active employees will give advice based on their experience. How to reach the archives: MyWaseda → Learning Support→ダッシュボード→キャリアセンター提供セミナー→9.国際機関(ガイダンス・インターンシップ説明会・セミナー) What sites can I refer to?
